What did you do in the service? I was a paratrooper and an engineer.

Why was it important? When the prisoners (our men) came back, we built the facilities they came back to. And we also built a road into the demilitarized zone for the return of the bodies.

What is your most important memory from service? It was just sad to see when they brought the bodies back. That's just what sticks in my mind.

What did you like least about service? I really didn't mind it.

What do you want people to understand about war? We can do without that. We don't need that, if there's some other way.
